Alma Žiga (maiden name Aljić) was born in 1973 in Bajina Bašta, R. Serbia. She completed primary and secondary school in Visoko. She enrolled at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica in 1993. He graduated in 1999, majoring in construction and production. In the same year, he was employed at "UNISKovina" Visoko and completed a one-year internship there.
He joined the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Zenica in 2001 as an assistant at the Department of Mechanics. As an assistant, he holds exercises in the subjects: Statics, Kinematics and Resistance of Materials. In 2002, he enrolled in the postgraduate master's degree in "Product Design" at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica. Master's thesis entitled "Design of an above-the-knee prosthesis foot with built-in hydraulic actuators in the ankle and knee"; defended in September 2006. He received the title of senior assistant in 2007.
The subject of her doctoral thesis, entitled "The influence of contact, variable stresses on the durability of cast steel bearing rollers on rotary kilns", was reported in 2008 and she defended it on February 9, 2016. years. In the same year, he was elected to the title of assistant professor, and in 2021 he was elected to the title
associate professor. As a mentor or commentator, she guided several candidates in the 1st and 2nd cycle of studies.
She participated in several professional, educational and scientific research projects. From 2021, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica, she holds the position of chairperson of the Scientific and Teaching Council.
He is the co-author of two university textbooks, as well as several scientific and professional papers in journals and conference proceedings.
She is married and the mother of two children.
