He was born on February 9, 1968 in Jablanica, Tešanj municipality. After finishing high school of mechanical engineering, he enrolled in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Banja Luka. Due to new circumstances, he stopped his studies at the beginning of 1992 and resumed them after the normalization of circumstances at the beginning of 1996 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica. He graduated here in July 1997. After completing his studies, he was employed at the factory of candles and industrial ceramics Enker doo Tešanj. In this company, he worked as a technologist and designer of spark plugs and industrial igniters.
In the title of assistant, since April 1999, he has been permanently employed at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica. There he spent his entire academic career and progressed from assistant to associate professor on courses in the field of production technologies, i.e. the narrower scientific field of Technology, machines and tools for deformation processing. He held the position of Vice-Dean for Teaching and Student Affairs, and from mid-2022 he is the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Zenica. In two election periods, he held the position of Quality Manager of the University of Zenica. He participated in the work of several scientific and professional gatherings, conferences and seminars in the country and abroad, he is the author of one book in the field of deformation processing, co-author of one book in the field of quality management, and the author and co-author of dozens of papers published in magazines and anthologies with conference. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Public Institution University of Zenica and president of the Commission for Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Assembly.
He is married and the father of one child.
