Prof. Ph.D. Elma Ekinović was born in Zenica, where she finished elementary school and high school with excellent results. As a high school student, she participated in cantonal, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Yugoslavian competitions in mathematics and physics.
She graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica with an average grade of 9.50 defending his graduation thesis in 1986. During her studies, she received the "Hasan Brkić" award from the University of Sarajevo several times for exceptional success in her studies.
She defended her master's thesis in 2001 and her doctoral dissertation in 2006 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica.
Nafter graduating, she got a job as an assistant-trainee at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica. She held exercises in Statics, Design Geometry, Technical Drawing, Fluid Mechanics, Means of Transport, Kinematics, Dynamics, Oscillation Theory and Dynamics and Stability of Structures at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, as well as exercises in the subjects Theoretical Mechanics at the Faculty of Metallurgy in Zenica and Applied Mechanics at the Faculty of electrical and mechanical engineering from Tuzla, Department of Zenica.
He is currently a full professor at the Department of Mechanics at the University of Zenica. As a subject holder, she is engaged in several subjects at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (Kinematics, Dynamics, Theory of Oscillations, Dynamics and Oscillations of Complex Systems), as well as at the Polytechnic Faculty (Mechanics II, Technical Mechanics) and the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (Technical Mechanics) of the University of Pupils.
He is the author of a large number of scientific works and several textbooks. He actively speaks English.
