Nusret Imamović was born in 1981 in Zavidovići, where he completed elementary and secondary technical and mechanical school. He graduated in 2006 from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica, Department of Mechanical Engineering in Metallurgy. Postgraduate - master's studies ended in 2010 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica with the defense of the master's thesis "Analysis of the degree of efficiency of wastewater treatment of aerobic biochemical processes with activated sludge". He defended his doctoral dissertation entitled: "Investigation of biogas yield in the process of anaerobic digestion of solid waste from the meat industry" in 2014 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica.
He is currently the director of the Center for Energy Efficiency of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, vice-dean for Scientific Research, and a member of the Senate of the University of Zenica. He held the position of chairman of the NNV Faculty of Mechanical Engineering for two terms, and QA manager of the Faculty. He is a lecturer on the subjects Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Fuels and Combustion, Energy Efficiency, Energy Systems and Water Protection Engineering.
He is the author and co-author of three (3) university textbooks, 2 (two) scientific and professional monographs and one translation of a professional book. He is the author of more than 50 scientific and professional papers in magazines and conference proceedings, and he led, realized, revised, and supervised dozens of professional projects, studies, measurements, expertise, reports, reports, and court expert reports.
