This is an example page. It differs from a blog article in that it is always in the same place and will appear in your site menu (in most themes). Most people start with an About Me page that introduces them to potential visitors. That page might look like this:

The company XYZ was founded in 1971, and since then it has been supplying its customers with quality protective breathing masks. Located in Gotham, XYZ Company employs over 2,000 people and does all sorts of cool things for the people of Gotham.
As a new WordPress user, you should visit your dashboard to delete this page and create new pages for your content. Have fun!
