Organization, principles and goals of the work of the Alumni Club of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica

The alumni club of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica is an informal community that was formed under the auspices of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica. Membership in the Alumni Club of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is voluntary, where all graduates who have graduated, master's or doctorate at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica can join. You can become a member of the alumni club by registering and applying on the online alumni database of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, within the alumni database of the University of Zenica (www.alumni.unze.ba).

The idea of the Alumni Club itself is to facilitate the connection of former students with the faculty, as well as with each other, in order to achieve their permanent cooperation and realization of common interests. 

The main goals of the existence and work of the Alumni Club are:

  • establishing and maintaining a permanent relationship between the Faculty and its students after graduation,
  • connecting former students of the faculty in order to enable their mutual cooperation,
  • planning and organization of gatherings, conferences or networking events to strengthen ties between club members
  • promoting the achievements of former students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering to highlight excellence and contribution to the community
  • providing support and mentoring to current students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering to help them in their professional development.
  • promoting ethical standards, responsibility and innovation in the engineering sector among club members
  • improving the work of the Faculty as an educational and scientific-research institution in terms of having adequate and timely information that can be provided by members of the Alumni Club,
  • developing the Faculty's cooperation with companies/companies and institutions in which former students are engaged,
  • motivation and advancement of Alumni Club members in the context of encouraging professional and scientific research activities,
  • participation in international scientific and professional exchange and establishment of relations with Alumni associations and clubs from the region and beyond.

The alumni club has a president and a secretary who are appointed for a term of four years by decision of the Scientific and Teaching Council of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, from among the members of the club. The president is responsible for the organization and management of all activities of the club and its representation. The club secretary assists the president in all activities of the club, especially in terms of administrative tasks, such as registration and membership in the club, communication with club members and other partners, maintaining club documentation, and coordinating the logistical details of events organized by the club.
