Almir Huskanović was born on August 13, 1969 in Tešnje. He finished primary and secondary school (mechanical and technical) in Tešanj. In 1989, he entered the Faculty of Science and Mathematics of the University of Sarajevo, Department of Mathematics, general major, graduating in 1998. He enrolled in postgraduate studies in 2001 at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics at the University of Sarajevo, Department of Mathematics, which he completed in 2005. He successfully defended his doctoral thesis in December 2012 at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Zenica.
In the period from 1993 to 2002, he worked as a mathematics professor at the "Musa Ćazim Ćatić" Secondary Technical School and Gymnasium in Tešnje, and from 2002 to the present day, he worked at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Philosophy, Economics, Metallurgical Technology, and Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Zenica. .
