Hermina Alajbegović was born in 1980 in Kakanj. She finished elementary school and high school in Kakanj. During high school, she excelled in mathematics and physics competitions, and at the end of her secondary education, she was named student of the generation. In 1998/1999, he enrolled at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Department of Mathematics, in Sarajevo. years. He graduated in 2003 and received the title of graduate mathematician and computer scientist. In the same year, he was employed as an assistant at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica. In April 2003, he enrolled in postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Sarajevo, majoring in Algebra. Master's degree in 2008 under the mentorship of prof. Ph.D. Hasan Jamak on the topic "Strictly smooth modules over domains of wholes".

He enrolled in doctoral studies in 2011 at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics of the University of Sarajevo at the Department of Mathematics.

Doctoral dissertation "Crystallographic groups and the growth of subgroups", under the mentorship of prof. dr. She defended Muharem Avdispahić in January 2016.
