Amina Fetić – graduate

by | Apr 6, 2023 | Students' stories

I spent the seventh semester, i.e. the first semester of the fourth year, at TH Köln in Germany, as part of the Erasmus + exchange program between the University of Zenica and TH Köln. During this semester, I managed to expand my horizons as an individual, but also as a future engineer. Life in Cologne taught me independence and opened my eyes to new ideas. I changed my approach to looking at problems and looking for solutions. I was able to learn the basics of automation as part of the mechanical engineering branch, something I had never encountered before. I had the opportunity to work in laboratories with advanced equipment, and part of the work in the laboratory, as well as the knowledge of automation, helped me later in the preparation of my thesis on "Communication of an industrial robot with a PLC". I consider exchange and going to another country as a very important aspect that the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica made possible for me. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the professors and employees of the faculty who participated in the process of my departure, as well as for their help during and after the exchange.
